Mayor of Minoc murdered!
Tonight there seemed to be trouble at the Royal Oaks Tavern located in Newcastle. This reporter has learned that a woman claiming to be the daughter of the apparently late Trace Adkins, was seen accusing the Blue Lotus Clan of actually murdering her father. Stating that a miner in the area has come forth claiming several "ninja" dressed in blue outfits were the culprit behind the killing.
Shortly after this all began, the Soke of the Blue Lotus apparently arrived at the tavern following a request by one of the Britannian Armed Forces holding the rank of Field Major. The Soke, believed to be one Takashi Mandaka, entered the tavern amid flying accusations of murder by him and his men. He quickly claimed no part in what was being said, and that his entire force was accounted for. He went on to say that those of his Clan would never act without his approval, and that he had ordered no such attack.
With Field Major Rand Al'Thor attempting to keep things civil, eventually Soke Takashi seemed to have had enough and left before violence erupted. He was later seen at the Blue Lotus Guildhouse speaking to several of his men.
But this reporter has actually interviewed a young woman by the name of Sachi, who claims to have been at the scene of the crime at the time it was committed. "Trace, the Mayor of Minoc, was giving me a tour around the city. He was a very nice man and showed me quite a few things." Sachi told me during our interview. "We had just left the mine area when a group of ninja warriors appeared out of no where, all clad in gray suits, and struck down the Mayor."
Why there are such radically conflicting reports out now is something this reporter can not seem to figure out. As the City of Minoc begins to morn its fallen leader, the hunt continues for whom ever is responsible for this tragic event no one will soon forget. Funeral arangements for Mayor Adkins are expected to be announced soon.
